🇳🇿 We're thrilled to be in Auckland this week at the Bus and Coach Association NZ's annual conference, where we're exhibiting and sponsoring tonight's gala dinner. ⚡ Check out our Enviro100EV "big small bus" which has now arrived in New Zealand! Equally at home in town streets, subdivisions and country lanes, it can run for up to 400km on a single charge while remaining within the lowest band of Road User Charges at under 12,000kg GVM. #LeadingtheZEvolution

Thank you to the members of The Omnibus Society that we had the pleasure or welcoming to our Larbert facility today as part of their Presidential Weekend hosted by Ralph Roberts of McGill's Bus Group. ⚡️ Our guests explored the transformational approach to manufacturing that we introduced for our next-generation electric buses under the expert guidance of our Joint Head of Operations Stuart McKinnon and enjoyed a presentation on the past, present and future of our engineering from Head of Concepts & Advanced Engineering Jamie Wilson. 👏 We really appreciate them and other colleagues volunteering to give up their Saturday to enable this visit! #LeadingtheZEvolution

🇺🇸 We love this update from our US customer Spokane Transit following their visit to our new partner manufacturing facility in Las Vegas – and we can't wait to deliver their completed new Enviro500 double deckers next year!
“Giddy” is probably the best word to describe the feeling as I toured Alexander Dennis' new double-decker bus manufacturing facility in the beautiful desert city of Las Vegas, Nevada. Spokane Transit’s 7 double-decker bus order was the first to hit the impressive production line, with an expected delivery of our first beauty sometime in December. ADI VP, Jason Steinbrunn, along with his highly skilled UK/US ADI team and their business partners at Big Rig Manufacturing Inc, were nothing short of impressive. They’ve maneuvered challenging market conditions to bring back this important transit vehicle option. I snapped pics of our buses in each stage of production – from bare chassis to staircases! A big thanks to the Washington State Legislature and the Washington State Department of Transportation, and most importantly -- the citizens of the Spokane region, for the funding package that made this transit system advancement a reality. The service efficiency and customer comfort improvements provided by these double-decker buses is only months away! Check them out in 2025 on Route 6 between the City of Spokane, the City of Cheney, and Eastern Washington University (Go Eags!). I also share my personal thanks with STA's Sr. Vehicle Maintenance Manager, Josh Stoddard, for his leadership and deep industry knowledge. We wouldn't be where we are without him!

We've supplied two further electric buses to 𝗖𝗼𝗯𝗿𝗮 𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗽𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 in a landmark project that demonstrates the potential of zero-emission buses on corporate contracts. The new buses operate for broadcasting and telecommunications group Sky in Livingston, Scotland, offering links to railway stations and local amenities. They are part of a system approach to vehicles and infrastructure, with multiple companies working together to deliver a reliable solution. The electric buses are owned by Dawsongroup bus and coach and provided to Cobra on a fully supported contract hire solution for the operation on behalf of Sky. EO Charging has provided and will manage the ongoing maintenance of the charging infrastructure that was installed by BES Group. Our AD24 aftermarket division will provide spare parts and service. The new Enviro200EV have replaced two earlier examples of the same type, which have been transferred to a similar operation on behalf of Sky in Osterley, Greater London to join a larger fleet there. Designed with state-of-the-art DC charging, the new buses have a higher charging speed compared to the earlier AC solution to increase resilience of the operation, which has no spare vehicles. It allows vehicles to be returned to service more quickly after maintenance and repairs, with the proximity of the AD24 team at the manufacturers’ sites in Falkirk and Larbert an additional factor that keeps downtime to a minimum. #LeadingtheZEvolution
