👏 Well done to our Alexir 5-a-side football team for reaching the Cup knockout stages at the The Boparan Charitable Trust Super League this weekend just gone! In their first attempt at the tournament, they truly took everyone by surprise! 🌟 There’s already talk of regular training sessions over the next year, so stay tuned—big things are coming! A special shoutout to our budding football stars from Alexir: Adam Dean, Dominic Wing, Miroslav Van, Michelle Collier,Oliver Lett and Sam Sharp. And of course, a huge thank you to Louise Cobbett, our Key Account Manager extraordinaire and football manager, for organising the team and our participation in this fantastic charity event. Here we are, in the Kent sunshine, celebrating our 5th year of owning our own business…all 145 of us! (there may be a few of us missing but all those who could come, did) 🌞🌞 Our celebration was a feast of pizzas, burgers, ice creams, and classic pick ‘n’ mix—absolutely delicious! 🍕🍔🍦🍬 We also held a raffle and competitions where our team had the chance to win some amazing prizes!👏 However, this event was more than just a party; it was a moment to honour the incredible hard work of all our partners as we continue to expand and build a more sustainable future together. Reflecting on our journey since becoming employee-owned in 2019, we’re proud of our unique approach at Alexir. Our ownership fuels our passion and commitment every day.
