Trusses arriving from Kingdom Timber Engineering today, hard on the heels of the timber kit from Rob Roy Homes Ltd. Hundreds of tons of concrete and blocks continue to arrive from Laird Brothers (Forfar) Limited. Security gates being supplied and installed by Swan Engineering Ltd Alarm systems from Paul Kenny. Lots of local hauliers, plant hire companies , builders merchants and subcontractors Of course a local main contractor Algo - Building for Your Business. This is how local businesses support other local businesses, providing economic benefit and employment opportunities. As 2024 draws to a close and we prepare for the festive break, we want to take this opportunity to express our gratitude to all our colleagues, contractors, clients, suppliers, and wider business network whose hard work, collaboration and support have been the cornerstone of another successful year. Reflecting back on the last 12 months Algo are proud to celebrate the achievements of our team. From agricultural developments to commercial projects, industrial units to housing projects and community builds, from the borders, to the Highlands and as far out as Islay - our project portfolio this year has been as diverse as it has been rewarding. Each high quality building handed over stands as a testament to the dedication and skill of everyone involved. With a robust order book to kick start 2025, we’re excited for what lies ahead as we continue to strengthen partnerships with valued clients and welcome new ones as we embark on fresh projects. Site Progress Update - Educational Facility, Kinross Back in June, ground was broken in Kinross on a new state of the art school for Seamab Care and Education. Works have progressed significantly in the past few months whilst site preparation works have been undertaken, steel frame erected and cladding to the roof and walls now underway. Once complete the facility will feature a multipurpose recreational space for use as a gym and dining area alongside 6 classrooms for learning. Under the Project and Site Management of Jason Vessey and James Latto, target completion is Winter 2025 and we look forward to seeing this transformational project come to life. Fantastic effort by all involved in the project so far.

Site Progress update from our Site Manager James Latto on the key project milestone achieved this week on site at Seamab School. Great work by all involved in this project so far. Next phases include roof cladding, internal drainage, under build and structural floor slabs. The facility is scheduled to open to pupils, teachers and staff in August 2025.
