Here's some recent experimental work in collaboration with Surfing Hippos Productions Pvt. Ltd Shooting with real ice cream is always challenging, especially in Mumbai. There's a limited window to shoot, it really does take a team who really knows what they're doing to pull this off! Achieving the perfect amount of melt may look like the ice cream has just been left and captured at the right moment, but instead it's meticulously designed to achieve optimal delicious-ness! Having moved back to Mumbai to pursue my photography career, this project reminds me to keep at it, to stay behind the camera and create more! Pictured here are is beautifully marinated meat, on a charcoal grill developing a deep smoky flavour - the Maillard reaction. How did I achieve this?
