In our latest Agile Guild* session, Boyan Kraev dove into the Spotify Agile model and Engineering Culture. Meet Andrei Neacsiu, Principal Developer at Amdaris, an Insight company. Andrei is in the spotlight for the first of our ‘Exceptional People’ series, where we’re learning more about the individuals that make Amdaris so special. Andrei has worked in the IT industry for eight years as a tester, a front-end developer and, most recently, a back-end developer. His passion for technology started back when Andrei was a child. “I was that kid who took apart watches and radios to see what makes them tick (literally).” He was introduced to coding in a high school IT class and immediately knew that he’d found his calling. Since then, Andrei has become proficient in multiple programming languages including AngularJS, Java and, his personal favourite, C#. He credits his natural curiosity and love of solving challenges as his motivation for mastering both front-end and back-end development. He wishes to expand further into DevOps and project management so he can be involved in every stage of a project lifecycle. Andrei’s love of tech extends outside of his work. “I love watching tech tutorials and playing with the latest gadgets. I also try to stay active with sports to balance out all of that time at my desk!” It’s clear that Andrei loves what he does, and this enthusiasm translates to his closing thoughts on his hopes for the future of the tech industry. “I work with so many people who genuinely love what they do. When you put passionate people together who communicate excellently and continually learn from one another, the possibilities are endless. With so much talent, the technology industry is certain to continue to move in exciting new directions.” Behind every Amdarian is a story of passion, dedication and success, just like Andrei’s. On Sunday our amazing #Amdarians took part in the Oncohelp Cross charity event, proudly covering both the 10 km and 4.5 km distances. 🏃♂️🏃♀️ At Amdaris, an Insight Company, we’re committed to making a positive impact beyond technology. That’s why we were proud to cover the entry fees for all our runners and also donate additional funds to further support this important cause. 🙌 But the effort didn’t stop there—our colleagues across the company also joined in by generously donating to support the runners and the cause.
