In recent months, children in Lebanon have faced fear and uncertainty, their lives disrupted by conflict and crisis. Our partner Laban is creating safe spaces where children can express their emotions, release the weight of their experiences, and rediscover joy ✨ Through theatre, storytelling, and creative expression, they are finding their voices again and rebuilding a sense of safety. In times of crisis, play and expression are not just important—they are essential for healing 💛 👉 Watch how Laban is supporting children’s mental health through art and creative expression.

This Women's Day, we honor the unwavering resilience of Afghan women, those who have been displaced and those living under Taliban rule who continue to fight for their rights, their voice, and their future. Despite immense challenges, they refuse to be silenced. Their stories are a testament to strength, courage, and the enduring spirit of women everywhere 💜 🌸 Diwa’s Story: Diwa, a journalist who dreams of bringing light to Afghan women’s stories has a message of resilience and defiance for Afghan women. “Our problems are big, but we cannot lose hope. We must stand up, keep fighting, and keep moving forward.” She calls on the international community, particularly the UN, to do more than watch. “We want to work. We refuse to be invisible. Please allow us.” #internationalwomensday #womensday #afghanistan

Despite immense challenges, they refuse to be silenced. Their stories are a testament to strength, courage, and the enduring spirit of women everywhere 💜 Latifa who worked as a police woman in Afghanistan before the Taliban took over, called on the world to not leave Afghan women alone. “We are also women, just like you. We have the same needs, hopes and desires as other women. We are no different. But we are surrounded by problems. My plea is for people to support Afghan women any way they can-financially, psychologically, emotionally. Because if you leave us alone in our struggles, we might lose all hope,”. #internationalwomensday #womensday #afghanistan

We’re thrilled to share that Amna has been selected as a grantee of the ICONIQ Impact Youth Mental Wellbeing Co-Lab—a $200 million collaborative philanthropy fund supporting organizations addressing youth anxiety and depression around the world. With this grant, we will establish two Community Partnership Hubs in new geographies, working with 20 community organizations to expand access to trauma and identity-informed care. These hubs will provide funding and capacity-building to local organizations, supporting approximately 20,000 displaced people, with a significant focus on youth. This funding will also enable us to expand our Systems of Care and Global Healing Network, strengthening strategic alliances with INGOs, local and national governments, and key institutions to scale trauma and identity-informed care for young people globally. We will also invest in developing impact measurement tools to ensure our interventions lead to meaningful, lasting change for displaced communities. #YouthMentalHealth #Philanthropy #CollaborativePhilanthropy #YMWBCoLab

We need more and more of these type of techniques being spread everywhere to everyone who is in need. We do harm if we don’t. It’s simple, fast, cheap, and it works.
Frontline workers in Gaza are sharing Amna’s tools to help children manage stress. In times of crisis, small moments of calm can make a difference. Sometimes, healing begins with a single breath 💛 #Amna #AmnaHealing #Gaza #MentalHealth
