As a Sporting Director, one of the biggest challenges I faced was in hiring new Head Coaches. I remember feeling like I was flying blind — no clear data, just gut feelings, my network and opinions from those around me. When you’re making such a critical decision for your organisation, that’s a tough spot to be in. This was the motivation behind building out Analytics FC's Coach ID service. Part of that process has been to (slowly) convince clubs and federations that it’s just as important to scout for coaches and have the right person lined up before you even need to make the move, so you’re not left scrambling when things change.
