If you do get a message, please always feel free to give us a call to check first, but bear in mind we have never requested, nor accepted, payment from a candidate for any service. Luke Leonce and I had the privilege this morning of hosting Annapurna’s latest VIP round table for cross industry reward leaders. In this session we discussed the forthcoming EU pay directive that lands in June 2026 and how to deliver ‘policy to practice’. We discussed how companies are planning for this new regulation , how to communicate around it and land it within business, as well as the potential unseen consequences. We also discussed how this regulation may change the role of the manager into the future in terms of pay and reward conversations. Despite the group being varied, from leaders within financial services through to digital scale ups, there were many common themes, challenges, and opportunities. Thanks to all those who came 🙏 Thanks also to Justin Shum Luca Vega from the executive reward team for helping to organise the event and to Daniel Smith .

💬 "Even if we don't have employees in the EU, we still need to be doing more to increase our transparency." Mornings don’t get much more productive than today’s! 🌅 We had the pleasure of hosting a VIP group of industry leaders and HR professionals for an insightful session on the upcoming EU Pay Transparency Directive, set to take effect in 2026. The directive is a big stride towards closing the gender pay gap, which still sits at an estimated 13% within the EU. It holds companies accountable for justifying the pay for every employee, promoting fairness and equity. While this policy will directly impact the EU, our panel emphasised that UK-based companies can’t afford to ignore it. To remain competitive and foster stronger workplace cultures, transparency is essential - whether mandated or not. Our expert guests shared a wealth of knowledge, from practical strategies to future-proofing their organisations, all focused on ensuring smooth compliance. ✅ As this policy will influence organisations globally, it’s critical to start these discussions early. The sooner companies implement changes, the more they’ll benefit in terms of both performance and culture.
