Our rapidly customisable cell line platform opens new possibilities for assessing the safety and efficacy of new immunotherapies and antibody-targeted drug candidates - much earlier in the drug development cycle, with its help you can model disease state and healthy tissue target expression levels, allowing you to address on-target/off-tumour toxicity in vitro in a more effective way. This week we’re showcasing our xCELLigence system! We use this at various stages of drug development. 💊 “The xCELLigence is a label-free system that allows us to monitor kinetic data of cell attachment and detachment. A key measurement that we use the xCELLigence for is % cytolysis, which can repeatedly measure target cell death in real time. Cytolysis can be induced: ✔️ Directly by cytotoxic effector cells (like CAR-T cells and CD8 cells) ✔️ Through the engagement of effector and target cells (like T cell engagers) ✔️ Through NK cell engagement via monoclonal antibody binding ✔️ Through binding of antibodies with cytotoxic payloads (like antibody drug conjugates).” - Holly Greggan, Study Manager. This week, we’re shining the spotlight on our Biacore 8K SPR systems. 🌟 Surface plasmon resonance (SPR) is a powerful technique providing real-time, high-resolution information on the kinetics of biomolecular interactions. We use the Biacore 8Ks at all stages of drug discovery – providing invaluable information to select drug candidates faster. “Using the Biacore 8K, we have established a range of optimised SPR assay platforms that can be used across the drug discovery life cycle.
