We're delighted to announce that we've been appointed by Arcvelop for the residential project in Ramsgate, supporting with our building control expertise. Phase 1 involves converting an office building to flats and making external alterations, while Phase 2 will see the construction of new flats. Having worked with Arcvelop on other projects, we're looking forward to collaborating again on this new project. PLANNING APPROVED (Phase 1 & 2) This is one of our favourite approvals yet, a double planning whammy this week, Phase 1 and 2 now approved for 24 units at Albion Place! Amazing news for everyone involved, and I really think this will make positive impact for the local area. A lot of hardwork over the last 12 months to get this stage but it's all worth it. Phase 3 (the infill car park) is also well underway in the design process and we are looking to submit planning in the next month. Planning Approved for Phase 1 of Albion Place We have received the initial planning for Victoria House - our conversion of a listed building into 9 flats! This is a phase 1 of 3 of our Albion Place scheme. With no public objections, we were hopeful this would come through sooner. However, with a large scheme like this you should expect some delays (this one was an extra 2 months), the council will most likely assess the whole scheme together, we've also had the Council's IT system down for a few weeks. The application focused on converting the office space internally and sympathetically bringing back the feel of 3x unique townhouses on the outside. The Council appreciated that we were restoring the outside, bringing back the balconies at first floor and front doors, changing the UPVC windows and detailing back to original timber sash. For this development, we split the site into 3 separate planning applications: -Victoria House - Conversion of a listed building into 9 units (approved) -Dundee House - Class MA Permitted development conversion into 15 units (due this week) -New build on the car park land - (to be submitted) Fingers crossed for the remaining planning due imminently. Strip out of the 18,000sqft office is well underway! I'll give a separate update on that... The 12 months work starts now. Arcvelop

As it’s the start of the year, it’s a good opportunity to reintroduce myself - I’m Marc, London based (originally from Yorkshire), I’m an Architect and Developer, I founded Arcvelop in 2019 to build a brand that simply combines high quality architectural design with commercially viable development and make small meaningful impacts to each location we work in. I specialise in commercial conversions with land developments, on the majority of schemes I am to design and build to hold for the long term. I started the company following working at some of the largest architecture practices delivering £100m+ landmark schemes across the world, followed by contracting for small development companies and private equity investment/family offices, where I delivered many developments and conversions from £1m-£30m across London. Alongside this, I have been investing and developing my own properties from a young age. I was even fortunate to purchase my first investment in 2007, just before the crash… Since starting Arcvelop the aim has always been to bring positive developments that are delivered by Architects. I always wanted to work with great people, and I have successfully built the business with Paula and Angela. We have some awesome JV partners at Arcvelop Investor Group with Mike and Andy. And some creative option agreements with David at Holkham Properties. Last year was a great year, including two of our developments being featured in Channel 4’s “The Great British Home Restoration” and we also won Property deal of the Year at the Property Investor Awards! I also work with a small group of awesome coaching clients, other Architects or developers/investors wanting to further their knowledge in commercial conversions and developments. For the next year, it’s a busy one, our pipeline is to develop over £20m of luxury-designed residential developments, which will be our biggest year to date, across 3-4 areas in the UK. Property deal of the Year 🏆

Sheffield Completion! This is our second completion this month of a large former industrial site in the steel city. The site includes a warehouse and former testing centre over 2 floors which we will look to restore, extend, add an extra floor and convert the vacant property into 10 residential flats. The site has also been purchased with a corner plot of land which will form part of phase 2 of the development, we will look to create a new build development creating a further 10 units. This is a very exciting milestone for Arcvelop as it's our first site in the North after 2 years of appraising and offering on sites in the area - very strong competition for these kind of sites. This area is full of exciting redevelopment and regeneration schemes of former industrial properties, so we are hoping to add to the mix. There's bound to be a few obstacles in planning as we are building against a Grade II* listed building, but we've got a great team to tackle it. #arcvelop #arcvelopinvestorgroup
