⚽ 𝑭𝒐𝒐𝒕𝒃𝒂𝒍𝒍 𝒙 𝑷𝒐𝒆𝒕𝒓𝒚 𝒙 𝑨𝒓𝒔𝒆𝒏𝒂𝒍 ✍ We teamed up with DC SCORES to coach poet-athletes from our D.C. community on our women's team's first ever US tour, bringing football and poetry together to celebrate creativity, expression, and inclusion. Our very own poet-athlete, Lotte Wubben-Moy, joined the session alongside Alessia Russo and Emily Fox. In 2022, Lotte set up our own arts programme for young girls in our community, Time To Explore, which gives young girls a space to express themselves away from the pitch and the classroom. Sunday was a momentous day for us all. So proud to see our women’s team in action against Washington Spirit on our first ever pre-season tour.    What a journey we’ve been on to get us to this point, and being here in D.C. with our team shows how far the women’s game has come.    We were also delighted to be hosted at the UK Deputy Head of Mission’s residence ahead of the game to tell this growth story alongside Michele Kang, Christine Cupo, our women’s team partner ABBYY, and Spirit partner CVS Health.   Our own story is 37 years in the making and we are committed to moving the game forward. We’re here because we want to take our next step forward, to grow the game and open the doors for more supporters to connect with our women’s team.     Next season, we’ll continue to push ourselves and the game forward, with Emirates as AWFC’s main home for the first time.    Thank you to the British Embassy Washington for hosting us, and James Roscoe, MVO kind words.

𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐬 𝐓𝐫𝐞𝐟𝐨𝐢𝐥 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐬 𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐞 ‘92   Together with adidas, we’re proud to unveil our new third kit for the 2024/25 season, marking the return of the adidas trefoil which hasn’t been seen on our kit since our 1992/93 away kit.   Our 24/25 Third kit is made for Gunners around the world with a bold, fashionable design, combined with a hint of nostalgia. A smart, crew neck collar and matching sleeve detailing, complement the elegance of the trefoil and the cannon crest, which features on all three kits this season. These elements combine to create a vibrant, eye-catching look that brings pride, inspiration and belonging to the streets of North London and beyond.   The kit has been launched with an accompanying film that speaks to our Originality, our heritage and our future, and features Arsenal legends Kelly Smith and Vik Akers, lifelong Gooner Will Poulter, as well as captain of our Invincibles side Patrick Vieira. As our 2024 men's pre-season tour to the US comes to a close, I’d like to say a huge thanks to our team and community for an unforgettable 10 days in Los Angeles and Philadelphia.   Having played three games against quality opposition around intense training sessions means we are well prepared for a strong season ahead.   Our supporters were incredible throughout our time in the US.  From coast to coast, at supporter events, open training, matches, and bumping into supporters in the street, it’s been fantastic to share special moments together and bring north London to our supporters here.    Whilst in LA, we strengthened the bond with our KSE family and brought our people, partners, legends and community together. With our owners, Stan and Josh and our friends at the LA Rams, a highlight was bringing our different brands of football to life with our coaches and players to bring pride, inspiration and a sense of belonging to young supporters in Inglewood.    We’ve deepened our relationships and they will continue to grow. Our women’s team will strengthen that special connection when we visit the US later this month. We will travel to Washington DC for two games in the city as we prepare for a competitive domestic and European season.   Thank you to everyone who has made it all possible.  North London is never far away.

To celebrate Pride month, we're highlighting the individuals, communities and initiatives that champion the LGBTQ+ community within our game.   Earlier in June, Lia Walti paid a visit to Clubs United, an LGBTQ+ inclusive, grassroots football league, created to provide a safe space for all cis, trans and gender non-conforming identities.   Lia met Hannah, Rowan, Betty and Sarah for a conversation on football and identity, the ongoing meaning of Pride, and how Clubs United has allowed them to be themselves whilst playing the game they love.   The players also discuss Arsenal’s connection with the community and the role the club plays in creating an inclusive environment, by bringing pride, belonging and inspiration and ensuring everyone feels welcome to be a Gooner.   Watch the film, below 👇
