    In 2017, Eric Fourrier and Jérémy Thomas, both data scientists and software engineers, founded GitGuardian as a side project while working full-time. Their enthusiasm grew as they developed the secret detection platform, driven by the value and satisfaction it brought to users. Initially, they collected all the public commits pushed to GitHub real-time, and were struck by the extent of secrets exposure. Since then, GitGuardian has been dedicated to making life more challenging for hackers. Didier Caroff joined Elliot Kipling on Enginears this week to help us understand GitGuardian's mission and the innovation of AI within the business. They aimed to create a banking solution specifically for modern entrepreneurs, focusing on simplicity and efficiency while streamlining banking for small businesses, allowing them to save time and focus on growth. Enginears were lucky enough to be joined by David Puleri to help us understand more about Qonto's engineering challenges with data, their data platform and their growth plans over the next 12 months.
