🚨 The Biggest Challenge in Web3? User Acquisition. 🚨 Just finished reading a thought-provoking piece by Arthur Hayes, and this quote really resonated with me: “Your biggest problem is how to get more users, and that is a marketing and business development effort.” This is exactly the challenge that every Web3 project faces today - getting users on board, but especially keeping them engaged! According to Hayes, this isn’t just a minor hurdle; it’s the hurdle. The traditional methods won't cut it either. That’s where points programs come in, offering a fresh approach that might just crack the code on user acquisition in Web3. Instead of a private sale or a sudden airdrop, points programs provide a more flexible and dynamic way to reward users for meaningful engagement. Projects can create a more sustainable and scalable growth model by aligning user participation with ownership. It’s a smart move in a space where everything happens fast, and adapting is key. 💬 Do you think points programs could be the answer to Web3’s user acquisition dilemma? Let’s dive into this discussion! #Web3 #UserRetention #Blockchain #CryptoHayes #GrowthHacking https://lnkd.in/dh8txzZd

Let's talk about why many founders struggle with sales and marketing. The root cause? The OFFER. Offers should be a no-brainer for the target audience to consider it. Saying NO to a great offer should hurt a little bit. It needs to hit the mark so precisely that your target audience can't help but say yes. If you're missing this mark, it's time to go back to the drawing board. Here's how you can refine your offer: Understand your clients → Get deep into what your clients are looking for. What makes them tick? At what moment do they decide they need your product? Align your messaging to how your audience thinks and feels If you haven't done an offer bit yet, put a pause on your marketing efforts. Why? No amount of marketing can salvage a weak offer. Your campaigns won't work. You can't optimize what doesn't fundamentally appeal Even if you put it in front of more people. It's a sh*t offer. No ones gonna buy it. Focus on these to optimzie your offer: Scarcity Urgency Guarantee Offer without these elements will struggle. – What Now? Having advised over 100 companies one of the most common distinctions is: a clear understanding of timeframe — is it a sprint or a marathon? Successful founders have a clear understanding of their timeframe Hint: It's usually wayyy longer than you think... What do I mean? 🤷♂️ Let’s break it down: If you aim for immediate results, a quick cash flow boost, or sales, then your approach is tailored to short-term goals. You are in the sprint! 🏃♂️ You want money now that's perfectly okay. Know it's a straightforward path many choose. But what if you're playing the long game? 🏗 Generally this means setting your sights on building something larger. Its unlikely to be profits today but something that will last. This mindset doesn’t falter if today’s test doesn’t work out because every step, successful or not, is an invaluable learning experience. How to play a long game? Remember this → Long game is a commitment 👩❤️👨 It’s not just about endurance but also about resilience and foresight. It could take a decade, but what you're building is more than a business. As a founder, you must remember one crucial thing, regardless of whether you're playing the short or long game. Your offer. If your offer isn't great, no amount of sales or marketing will make it successful - The multiplier is speed to result. Here’s how to improve it 1) Make it irresistible. Your offer should address such a vital need that turning it away would seem almost painful. 2) It's not just a product or service – it's a solution to a significant pain point, making it a no-brainer for your target audience. 3) It’s about creating something that meets a deep need of the target audience and is undeniable. – What to do now? - Connect and DM me if you'd like to learn more - Follow WT3 Podcast to learn from world class experts even further ahead in their journey than me 💪 Much Love

"Web3 Failed!" Is Blockchain Doomed To Lose Against AI's Rapid Rise? "Web3 failed." Bold words from Charlie, but is he right? In this fiery excerpt from the first episode of What The 3, Liam, Thomas, and Charlie clash over the current state and future potential of blockchain and AI. The gloves come off as they debate whether the decentralized promise of Web3 has been betrayed, with Charlie claiming that around 73% of blockchain projects still rely on centralized infrastructure like Amazon Web Services. Meanwhile, the meteoric rise of generative AI tools like ChatGPT has the trio wondering if blockchain is doomed to lose the race for mass adoption and technological dominance. Will the complexity of blockchain be its downfall, or can it leapfrog AI to become the foundation of a true Web4? Expect strong opinions, insider insights, and a sneak peek of the 'After Dark' debates to come as the hosts grapple with the hype, the reality, and the future of the emerging tech landscape. #web3 #ai #blockchain

The 'Hustler' Startup Archetype 🧑🏻💼 | From PR to Blockchain The finance, sales, put together the pitch deck & have the chat kind of guy, introducing co-host Charlie Algar, CEO of ASP3CT 😎 Join us as we dive into the fascinating career journey of Charlie Algar, from his early days in PR to becoming an entrepreneur in the marketing & #web3 space. Learn how pivotal moments and strategic decisions shaped his path to success. 🚀 "I started my career for my sins in PR. Luckily, I got accepted into Cranfield again. That experience shot my trajectory into the finance world. I became a cost leadership consultant and I got an introduction into how it was to be a sort of corporate attack dog. From that company to another company called Cadence, my first project was technical consulting. At that point, I was then tapped up by the CEO of that consulting, he said, we're going to go work on this new cool thing called blockchain. My response, that sounds cool. What is it? It was one of those sort of pivotal moments in your career where you're like, hey, I've grown a bit here. We were all sort of talking about what we could do for these companies. He got around the table, got around to me and I was like, all right, I'll do the marketing because everything else had been taken and I was probably the only one who had an Instagram account. After a while I left those businesses to start my own entrepreneurial journey. Liam and I collaborated on an AI application. We then got to ASP3CT where we're essentially helping businesses build their own businesses using marketing, operational efficiency, and strategic advisory." #podcast #emergingtech #business
