This week, Sizewell C Supply Chain announced a new opportunity to tender for the construction contract of their new Marine Bulk Import Facility (MBIF) Jetty Head and Dolphins Installation. ABP's Port of Lowestoft is the closest port to the Sizewell C site, at just 20 nautical miles, making it ideally located to meet many of the key assumption identified in the tender sourcing strategy. And our deepwater, Outer Harbour infrastructure – the Lowestoft Eastern Energy Facility (LEEF) – with 350m of berthing space and direct access to the sea will be fully operational shortly. If you are interested in submitting a proposal, ABP looks forward to supporting you, so please get in touch. 📲Speak to Harriet Copley, Tom Duit or Rosh Gore-samad to develop a bespoke solution to this package. For Lowestoft on-port logistics services, please contact Jason Hendry at Peterson Energy Logistics. 📅 Application deadline: 22/10/2024 | 17:00 🔗Explore the details via CompeteFor: https://lnkd.in/dUruqup #MBIF #MarineBulkImportFacility #SizewellC #Suffolk #EastAnglia #NuclearEnergy #AlternativeEnergy #EnergyTransition #PortInfrastructure #ConstructionContract #SupplyChain

We're delighted that our ports can also serve as locations for the creative industries of film and television. At our Port of Grimsby a film production company, Keal Productions, run by BAFTA nominated producer Heather Greenwood has taken an office in what is hoped is the start of a cinematic journey for the historic quarter of the port. A range of TV and film opportunities are being developed, and Lincolnshire is at the heart of this vision with a range of diverse landscapes. It brings many economic benefits to the region.
