One of Astra Security Ltd's South West based Account Managers Steve Rees was out in a not so sunny Devon recently, helping commission a high-definition VNRP (Vehicle Number Plate Recognition) CCTV system to cover Garra Bridge for Devon County Council. This system is going to be used to help protect the historic narrow 17th century bridge against damage from vehicles & farm machinery.

Astra Security Ltd's Operations Director Matthew Stanley was on the road last week carrying out an Engineer & site audit. Stan met up with one of a regionally based Engineers at one of Booker Group's offices, where we had been upgrading their existing access control system.

This week one of Astra Security Ltd regional project managers Joe Rogers visited his local engineers in Bristol to carry out a site & engineer audit.

Astra Security Ltd service team spent the morning being coached by the best in their industry. Members of the Astra service team have spent the morning be coached on customer relations & service by Head of Sales Steve Smith from Bristol Audi. Astra’s Managing Director Paul Beet said, “this is fantastic for our team to learn from the very best in the motor industry. All of their ethos is on service & keeping the customer at the forefront of their thoughts, this is all transferable to us at Astra”.

Astra Security Ltd Regional Account Manager, Jonny Coates, has been on a whistle stop tour of Scotland & Northern Ireland! Jonny has been helping to hand over a newly refitted executive Jewellers. He also caught up with Astra engineers based in these regions and carried out site and engineer audits.

Today, Astra Security Ltd began installing a new security system in a high-end car dealership in South Wales.    This installation includes a high resolution 4K monitored CCTV system and new access-controlled doors.    These works are well underway and the project is due for competition in the summer of 2024.
