It's incredible to see a venue return to life, and that's what we've been lucky enough to help with in Ramsgate. The Granville Theatre reopened in May 2023 as a dynamic new multi-purpose entertainment venue following a huge amount of work. ATG Entertainment is proud to have been involved in this remarkable journey, alongside their brilliant venue team. It has been our pleasure to provide the ticketing capabilities, marketing support and account management throughout. Molly Mallon, the Granville Venue Manager said: "Working with ATG as our Ticketing Provider for The Granville Theatre has been the best thing we could have asked for. As a newly opened theatre, not only having the high-profile name behind us but having their expert knowledge, advice and guidance throughout opening has been a true blessing for my team and I. We couldn't be more thankful to everyone at ATG and cannot wait to continue our journey with them. Here's to hopefully many more years to come." A great live experience starts with a great ticketing experience. To learn more about our third-party Ticketing options for your venue or event please contact: beckyhearn@atgentertainment.com

Working in live entertainment, in a world of announcements and on sales for varying genres, we are used to tapping into specific audiences and fanbases across different platforms. However, content for tours which is normally striking and informative, is repeated across venues with the same assets just a change of information and venue. It serves its purpose - its recognisable, it sells the tickets, but as a venue how do we continue to engage these audiences and fans after the show is done? Something that has always resonated with Stockton Globe audiences has been the 'behind the scenes' elements since we reopened - artists signing our heritage doors, photos in the dressing room, shots from the shows, tours of backstage. When we had Heathers the Musical two weeks ago, I had never experienced the importance of fans and community as much as for this show. The 'Corn Nuts' as they are affectionately called are DEDICATED. They book multiple shows, they congregate at stage door after shows and they ENGAGE online. Our 'behind the scenes' content creation on the week of the show blew up our Instagram and TikTok accounts, being shared amongst the Heathers community at a rapid pace and has continued after the show has departed. We had 2 spare disposable cameras left over from an event and gave them to the cast to use throughout the week however they wished.. and the results are once again thriving now they have been developed and posted today with the fans continuing to engage. How VERY. How 1989! ❤️ 💚 💛 💙

As we come to the end of #BlackHistoryMonth in the UK, we wanted to reflect on the theme of 'Reclaiming Narratives'... So, we sat down with one of our wonderful ATG UK Global Majority Network Leads, Marina Mouloue Tsipanzaoue, to find out what Black History Month means to her, and what the Network's goals are for the future!

In light of this year's Black History Month theme, Reclaiming Narratives, we're proud to share a beautiful example of story-telling by Remi Ajibola, Creative Learning and Community Partnership Apprentice at Milton Keynes Theatre. Remi has created this poetry-infused video, themed around their mother's voice, and their experience of growing up immersed in, and buoyed by, Nigerian culture. We hope you enjoy this insightful glimpse into Remi's personal heritage.

Shows in the West End come from different places. Sometimes via people you build relationships with: directors, stars, agents. Sometimes they are revivals and sometimes via movie studios. Very occasionally, a show grows from the dogged determination of its creator (in this case Jethro Compton) to cobble coin and talent together to give it life any way possible and this is what happened five years ago: The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. By Jethro Compton and @ Darren Clark. Thankfully, I saw the penultimate performance of that run in 2019 and asked Jethro and Darren to go on a journey. Post that moment more than 150 dreamers and practitioners have joined us. From lighting experts, project general managers, committed investors, technicians, marketing account managers to drama students who helped evolve it in workshops post pandemic. Darren Clark has crafted the most stirring of scores with drums, trumpets, horns, violins, cellos, guitars and even the spoons, all played by a cast of 13 on stage. Jethro Compton has written, directed AND designed his brainchild based on the Fitzgerald short story (not based on the movie but no bad thing the Brad Pitt association). Building new work is akin to an extreme sport, bringing adrenaline and uncertainty, and above all collective belief channelled through a positive energy towards opening. And this Thursday, 10th October, at ATG Entertainment UK ‘s Ambassadors Theatre, West End, so begins the next chapter of Benjamin Button’s life. ‘What is normal anyway’ #homeiswhereverYOUare #icarrymyhomeinmyheart Gavin Kalin Gary Beestone Zoë Snow Eilene Davidson
