Our highly skilled team of composite engineers, technicians, laminators and fitters manufacture a diverse range of composite structures, components and tooling for automotive, motor sport, aerospace, defence, satellite communications and space. Our design and engineering team are equally adept working on performance cars as they are specialised aerospace components, for some of the industry's biggest aerospace and defence companies. We are currently undergoing a rapid period of controlled growth and we are excited for what the future brings.

Jenna Southgate our new Trim and Fit Section Leader We would like to welcome Jenna to our Trim and Fit department as our new Section Leader. Jenna started her career within a hospital emergency department located in Derbyshire. Wanting a career change, Jenna’s journey with Atlas started over 5 years ago as a Production Co-ordinator, which consisted of progress tracking and highlighting issues ensuring targets were met, enhancing staff efficiencies. After 5 months working in Production, it was time for a change to shopfloor working of which Jenna spent the next 4.5 years as a Laminator perfecting her skills. We caught up with Jenna to hear her thoughts on stepping into her new role and how she's already making an impact with her fresh perspective. Jenna said “While my background may not be in the trim and fit department, my extensive experience in people management and deep understanding of the business have equipped me with the confidence to advance my career within the organisation. I believe leadership is about leveraging diverse experiences to drive success, and I'm excited to bring my unique perspective to new challenges ahead”. Harry Harvey and Laura Medhurst, Project Engineers at Atlas Composite Technologies attended this year’s Motorsport Industry Association (MIA) CTS24 - Motorsport Engineering & Technology Show on Wednesday 16th October 2024 at the Silverstone Wing, Silverstone in Northamptonshire. Here is their feedback. The CTSMIA24 show provided valuable insight into technical developments in motorsport and how to join the motorsport team's supply chains. It was great to have an ear to the ground! We particularly enjoyed Lola Composites seminar giving an in-depth plan for their reintroduction to motorsport, focusing on their involvement in the Formula E championship and future plans for LMP2 projects including competing using hydrogen fuels - M-Sport UK Ltd also had a great discussion detailing the upscaling of the Rally 2 car manufacture and making the vehicle modular allowing upgrades to be used to compete in rally 1 (WRC) - they also touched on the logistics of how to compete in the Dakar and working with Carlos Sainz Snr! #MIACTS2024 #Motorsport #Manufacturing #EngineeringExcellence #Innovation #FuturePlans
