📢 World Bank set to double agriculture funding This week The World Bank announced it intends to double agricultural funding to $9 billion per year by 2030 to address climate risks and emerging job gaps in the sector. 💰 As Bloomberg reports, agriculture is increasingly vulnerable to climate risks while acting as a significant driver of emissions. The World Bank’s commitment is a recognition of the significant sums of capital required to transition the agriculture sector for a greener future. 🌱 At ATOME, we are helping to tackle looming food insecurity whilst reducing agriculture emissions through the production of zero-carbon green fertiliser. By transitioning to green fertiliser, the agriculture sector could immediately reduce consumer food product emissions by up to 8%.
