The University of Leicester’s Attenborough Arts Centre, accessible and inclusive.

About us

25 years ago Attenborough Arts Centre was established by Richard Attenborough, the lifelong champion of arts and social justice who believed that art is for everyone. Today we stay true to his vision, by creating and curating a range of inspiring artistic programmes alongside opportunities to actively participate, focussing particularly on giving platforms to those who are often not heard or represented, enabling them to tell their stories. Come and see an exhibition, experience a live performance, bring the family to a weekend event, or sign up for a Creative Course to bring out your artistic side.
