🚤 We’re back on the water with E1 Series! The RaceBird took to the Red Sea in Jeddah this weekend, for the opening race of Season 2. Aoki Racing Team, backed by international DJ Steve Aoki, were the first winners of the new season. Basketball legend, LeBron James, joins the star-studded line-up of celebrity owners this season, as his new Team AlUla Championed by LeBron James joined the E1 fleet. As host broadcast partner, our team was on the ground and sea in Jeddah and in our state-of-the-art remote production hub in Ealing in the UK, with partner Timeline Television. Capturing all the action and bringing the race to life with award-winning data-driven graphics for fans around the world. Gracias Mexico!  Formula E's year got off to an unforgettable start in front of 40,000 fans packed into the grandstands. 🏆After a five-car battle for the lead and some outstanding overtaking, Yorkshireman Oliver Rowland broke Porsche’s winning streak, for Team Nissan. Racing was live on ITV4, ITVX and TNT in the UK, with coverage going out on over 40 broadcasters globally. Aurora produces the host broadcast, via our state-of-the art remote production facility in White City, London, in collaboration with our partner Gravity Media, with integrated content from our team on the ground in Mexico. Last season’s Mexico E-Prix was an incredible spectacle, featuring a sell-out crowd and a special guest appearance from Usain Bolt, who hit the track in the Formula E GENBETA electric race car. Porsche Motorsport have dominated here in the past, claiming the top spot on the podium three times.
