We were honoured to be invited to last night’s launch of the Femicide Census 2000 women report. It is a heartbreaking but necessary read to acknowledge the 2000 women, aged 14 years and above, killed by men in the UK since 2009. https://lnkd.in/eRSCUxGg... #Femicide

Jaysley Beck was relentlessly stalked and then sexually assaulted by a senior officer - she was then failed by the people that were meant to protect her. Our thoughts with her family and friends. If you are in the Army or the Royal Navy we are here to support you. Call us on 02392 479254 “On Thursday, Assistant Coroner Nicholas Rheinberg ruled she died by suicide, and determined the Army's handling of the complaint played "more than a minimal contributory part in her death".” Melissa Emmett, head of the Army personnel services group, who said it formally accepted failures were made. She said: "We let her down in so many ways for which we have already apologised, and if I can apologise again, for what it's worth, I would do. "We could have, and we should have, done more." #JaysleyBeck #ArmedForces #WeBelieveYou https://lnkd.in/gKVcRkZZ
