October was another busy month in UK Financial Services, and the good news for anyone looking for a job is that there were twice as many new appointments as terminations. The trend of decreasing number of firms continued, however, with a net reduction of over 100 in the month. We are now down to less than 74,000 firms when there used to be over 93,000 back in 2018.
