Believe it or not, Dragonflies were around before the dinosaurs, and throughout this entire time, their design has barely changed. Sure they used to be a bit bigger, but the main gimmick has stayed the same, whilst they've refined all their abilities. Dragonflies didn't evolve through adding "new features", for them it was about refining existing capabilities and maximising their strengths. 🍾 Last week we had our first RegTech Roundtable of 2025! 🍾 We brought together more than a dozen industry leaders from a range of compliance and technology firms to foster dialogue, highlight market challenges, and identify partnership opportunities. Three key themes were discussed: 1) The Future of AML Compliance From AI-driven due diligence, to transaction monitoring rules engine & dynamic risk assessments and the adoption of digital wallets. 2) Changes In The Regulatory Landscape The group examined UK’s Economic Crime and Transparency Act, Europe’s MICA legislation, and the U.S.’s FinCEN AML requirements. Discussing how these regulatory frameworks will shape compliance innovation over the next decade. 3) Collaboration as the Path Forward The roundtable concluded with a resounding call for collaboration as the key to advancing the RegTech industry. It was stressed that no single solution could address the complexities of modern compliance. Instead, partnerships and knowledge-sharing are essential for building robust, interoperable ecosystems.
