Members of the Avison Young │ UK 's Land & Development team visited Ebbsfleet yesterday, and were given a tour and presentation by the Ebbsfleet Development Corporation team. During our visit, we gained invaluable insights into the incredible progress made so far, and the ambitious plans for future development; the commitment to delivering the vision of Ebbsfleet Garden City, complete with 15,000 new homes, employment, green spaces, and major transport infrastructure - as well as delivering Ebbsfleet Central, the urban heart of the garden city is truly inspiring. A big thank you to Jennifer Hunt, Ian Piper, Ruth Bryan, Sophie Mowbray and Rob Lee for sharing their vision and updates on ongoing projects. We are excited to be part of this journey!

Sefton Council reaches another crucial milestone in the transformation of Bootle, with the submission of a planning application for the next phase of work, which includes the development of a new town square. The project, which is backed by £20m in government funding, centres around the regeneration of a key community asset, The Strand Shopping Centre, and will create considerable social value for the local community, making way for new public realm, green space and enhanced connectivity. The latest plans for Bootle were developed following a public consultation, which gathered feedback on accessibility, sustainability, materiality and proposed new uses for the former M&S building. Avison Young is pleased to be supporting Sefton Council, and collaborating with other partners, to deliver a vibrant, future-facing town centre that caters to the needs of the local community.
