🌿 The prosperity and resilience of all business fundamentally relies on nature, and we recognise that we cannot achieve net zero without nature.     Two years ago Aviva was in Montreal supporting Governments around the world to agree the ambitious Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework (GBF). They must now realise that ambition by implementing it.     At COP16 we are highlighting the need for Governments to establish policies, frameworks, and mechanisms that will fully and effectively implement the alignment of financial flows with the goals and targets of the GBF.      We are also calling on the COP16 negotiators to reflect this in the documents that will support all countries in fully and effectively implementing the GBF.    We’ll be at the Finance and Biodiversity Pavilion Blue Zone. 🤝 We are thrilled to announce our partnership with Packaged Living and Octopus Energy to introduce the ‘Zero Bills’ energy tariff to two of our UK build-to-rent developments. This initiative, launched by Octopus Energy in 2022, offers residents in homes with advanced technologies like heat pumps, battery storage, and solar panels, the benefit of zero energy bills for five years. Starting with our developments in Shenley Wood and Whitehouse Park, Milton Keynes, the first homes are set to welcome families by the end of this year. This means residents of 48 qualifying homes across the two sites could benefit from having no energy bills until 2029. Leah Ramoutar, Shilpi Singh, Abigail Herron, and Riona Bowhay represented Aviva, Aviva Canada and Aviva Investors at this major event, which featured over 600 activities and discussions.
