Last week, in recognition of World Suicide Prevention Day, our client Hill Group UK hosted a vital mental health awareness day onsite at Dagenham Green. At AYM, we're proud to have our own mental health initiatives, including a 24/7 third-party counselling service, Mental Health First Aiders, and regular external seminars for employees. It’s encouraging to see our clients also prioritising mental health on site. It’s no secret that the suicide rate in UK construction is three times higher than the national average, making it the highest-risk industry for mental health issues.
