The first step in creating a support chatbot for a website is to identify the “type” of people coming into your website For example Our website has 3 different personas -Potential Clients -Product Managers -Bubble devs A big chunk of “traffic” actually comes from fellow Bubble devs and people who are interested in working with us The chatbot needs to identify what the visitors wants based on the questions they ask Phrases like “Are bubble apps secure?” “How long does it take you to build an app?” Signal that this is a potential client. On the other hand, questions like “Are you hiring?” “I am a certified bubble developer” Suggest a very different intent. What’s amazing is that the AI Chatbot can lead the visitors to very different conversation pathways and actions based on what they are looking for In our case, “book a discovery call” for potential clients and “fill out the application” for developers. I was paid to learn Bubble. It was back in 2020. I didn't know how to pitch or sell. All I knew was that I could solve technical challenges. I came across a post on Slack. The guys were looking for a custom WordPress plugin to build a dashboard that could display and filter listings. I tried explaining to them how Bubble could be a better option compared to developing the plugin. They had plans to switch to a fully coded platform and were quite skeptical about Bubble. But I was so keen on closing this that I started building the dashboard in Bubble so they could really see it's possible. And it worked! They gave me a chance and agreed to use this NoCode solution for a couple of months. I had just hired one software developer. We were both trying to figure things out along the way. We had no clue how to fix the responsive issues so we hacked our way through and built 3 separate designs and used show/hide for different screens 😆 But what was intended to last a couple of months kept running for about 1.5 years. They have migrated to a coded solution now but that one chance unlocked so many new opportunities for me. #Founder #NoCode #Wordpress #agency #bubble
