Recently, B2C2 hosted its first codebar event in its London office. Codebar is a charity that promotes diversity in the tech industry by offering free programming workshops for underrepresented groups. These workshops aim to create a safe and collaborative environment for minority group members to learn programming and advance their careers in tech. Daniel Burrell, a Software Developer at B2C2 who helped organise the day, stated: “Personally, it's always a joy to be involved as both a host and coach at Codebar events. The students’ excitement for learning and the immediate progress they make is incredibly rewarding. Our London office was buzzing with activity, and student engagement with coaches was clear as they stayed until the very end. Group CEO Thomas Restout recently spoke with Hedgeweek about how the digital assets industry has matured in the past twelve months, and how B2C2 is positioning itself to make the most of regulatory tailwinds in the coming year. Commenting on evolutions in the crypto industry’s market structure, Thomas said, “The market structure has become more segregated, mirroring the development of traditional financial markets. There is still a gap between the trad-fi world, whose focus is necessarily on the long-term stability of their firms, and the crypto-native companies that are driving innovation and optimisation. Our Head of Luxembourg Denzel Walters recently spoke with Joanna Wright from DL News to discuss the impact of the new MiCA regulations on crypto firms’ decisions to establish themselves in new locations. Over the last 4 weeks, we had the privilege of welcoming school students to our London office for an immersive programme organised in collaboration with Future Frontiers.
