Event Identity Design: Marmara Urban Forum 2023 (MARUF) Marmara Urban Forum (MARUF) is Türkiye's first national urban forum. It is a biennial international urban forum organized by Marmara Municipalities Union. Briefly, we created conceptual design, environment design and applications, social media concept designs, merch products. Huh! It took too long to even count. Discover our Behance: https://lnkd.in/dFfHeCEW? // Challange: Evolution of The Identity MARUF is a free forum of sessions, workshops and events on the city. This year's theme is "Resilience & Beyond" The organization team had two expectations from us. The first is to prepare a concept design that is appropriate to the theme, has a positive vibe and is inclusive. Secondly, this concept design is based on MARUF's identity design. That is, we had to reinterpret existing visual decisions and assets. We had to take an evolutionary design approach. Solution: Composite Design with less resilience material As the parts become thinner, resilience increases. We decided to make MARUF's corporate assets resilient. Thus, it became both stronger and simpler. The second step was the composite method. These sheets, which are formed by using different materials layered together, create a more durable product. Contrary to expectations, differences strengthen the whole. For this reason, we designed a keyvisual where assets overlap/intersect/combine in a maximalist style. By changing layers and matching uses, we created a holistic visual world with a wide variety of variations. New project! Farmolog Product UI Design. Discover on Behance: https://lnkd.in/dnvZGa54? Farmolog is an Izmir-based scale-up that develops digital products for the sustainability of small and medium-sized farming. Farmers' adaption enables digitalization in agriculture. However, they may face physical and mental challenges. The high average age, the cognitive burden imposed by applications, the difficulty in adapting to technology, and physical difficulties can be seen as the primary causes. 🚜 Solution: Simple Flows, Bigger Assets, Fresh UI We worked as part of the Farmolog product team throughout the process. We updated the flows by reviewing the feedback and benchmarks the team collected from the field. We added shortcuts that make priority tasks easier. We refreshed the Farmolog logo, fonts, colors and icons. We defined easy-to-understand layouts and designed the elements (fonts, icons, UI elements) in the interface design with a larger than average size. We designed an easy-to-read, easy-to-navigate interface. The result is an application that minimizes cognitive load, does not cause anxiety and gives positive emotions.
