    Can ZoneSentry maintain performance in extreme weather conditions? ⛈️ In this video, we demonstrated how ZoneSentry can maintain its high-performance standards despite extreme weather conditions. With nuisance alarm mitigation built in, the sensitivity of each zone can be configured to suit the circumstances of its environment. This means in extreme weather, such as high winds, no alarm event is triggered. However, adapting the sensitivity does not decrease the efficiency of the solution. In the event of an intruder, the system will recognise this as a threat and trigger an alarm event. ZoneSentry is a highly adaptable solution to suit businesses across several industries.     📣 NEW CASE STUDY: Linear Heat Detection (LHD) installation for conveyor belts at cement production facility. At this prominent cement plant, it is vital to maintain high standards of fire safety and after a number of incidents over recent years, it was decided a more preventative approach was necessary. This case study demonstrates how Bandweaver’s Linear Heat Detection system, utilising FireLaser DTS technology, was successfully implemented to provide full coverage protection for the plant.     Wij krijgen met regelmaat de vraag of de glasvezelkabel in combinatie met de #Firelaser controller alleen geschikt is voor het beveiligen van parkeergarages zoals die van de #ArenA zie link (https://lnkd.in/d-FmydEw) Het antwoord is vrij simpel: De glasvezel thermische detectie-oplossing is geschikt voor vrijwel iedere ruimte die voorzien moet worden van temperatuurmeting ten behoeve van de #brandbeveiliging. In de buurt van Schiphol is een transformatorstation gebouwd waarmee het naastgelegen #datacenter op het landelijke energienetwerk is aangesloten. Voor Chubb Fire & Security Nederland hebben wij een Bandweaver Technologies glasvezeldetectiesysteem mogen leveren om dit transformatorstation van thermische detectie te voorzien. Het 150kV station diende uitgevoerd te worden met branddetectie in de ruimte waar de toegang zeer beperkt is, dus moest er gekozen worden voor een onderhoudsvrije vorm van branddetectie. Een andere eis van de eindgebruiker was dat er geen metaal in de detectievorm aanwezig mocht zijn. Om die reden is er gekozen voor glasvezeldetectie. De #Firelaser controller is, uiteraard geplaatst buiten de te bewaken ruimtes, aangesloten op een speciale glasvezelkabel. Deze speciale kabel is niet voorzien van de metalen armering die normaliter wel aanwezig is in de kabel die voor parkeergarages wordt gekozen om beter bestand te zijn tegen mogelijk vandalisme. In het geval van het 150kV station is de totale lengte van de geïnstalleerde glasvezelkabel ongeveer 500 meter. Door de eis van de eindgebruiker voor een metaalvrije detectievorm was het niet mogelijk om gebruik te maken van de #Listec_Sensorkabel welke een goede keuze kan zijn voor projecten waarbij de kabel korter is dan ca. 1.000 meter. De Bandweaver glasvezelkabel is voor veel projecten de beste vorm van thermische lijndetectie. #Technology #Glasvezel #Brandbeveiliging #Innovation
