We were delighted to discuss the role women are playing in the world of philanthropy, at the latest Women of Monaco Club luncheon. With many inspirational people in attendance, our Head of Philanthropy, Juliet Agnew, presented her insights around this important and timely topic. The special event, which regularly attracts many guests from across the Principality, was dedicated to empowering women and supporting the Princess Grace Foundation. We're pleased to announce the appointment of Mohammad Syed (Mo) as Head of Barclays Private Bank and Wealth Management UK and Crown Dependencies. Mo will join us in February 2025, subject to regulatory approval. Mo is a well-known figure in the industry, having started his career in investment banking in London, including time at Barclays, and has held many senior leadership positions covering Ultra High Net Worth clients and corporate and institutional relationships. Most recently Mo was CEO Asset Management, Coutts and NatWest and prior to this was Interim CEO at Coutts. His appointment reaffirms our dedication to our UK home market. In this new role, Mo will be responsible for leading the UK Private Bank, Wealth Management, Digital Investing and Crown Dependencies. Mo will work closely with Annabelle Bryde, who will take up a new role as Head of Private Bank International, in February 2025.
