It’s been nearly 4 weeks since Hurricane Helene hit, destroying whole communities across six states in the south-eastern US and claiming more than 100 lives. Having spent the last few months in North Carolina I have grown to love this beautiful state and the people who live here. Therefore even 4 weeks on seeing the destruction caused by Hurricane Helene, I am reminded there is still much to do to rebuild. I cannot believe how everyone pulls together at a time like this! I have made new friends and it’s been so heart warming! People have given time , money , effort and that is all truly appreciated! *Hurricane Helene relief* So grateful to everyone so far who have donated or dropped off supplies at my drop off location! I have a 26 ft movers truck and driver on standby and we need to fill it and get him on the road!
