Throwback to last Friday and the grand opening of "The Dug-out," Derby County Community Trust Allotment. Lucy Laughton and Managing Director, Scott Watson had the pleasure of attending the grand opening (at Little Chester Allotments) meeting the team behind this fantastic initiative. The community allotment is currently benefiting several groups: ✅ Making Space: Supporting individuals living with dementia and their caregivers. ✅ Derbyshire Mind: Running a programme focused on enhancing wellbeing through nature. ✅ Team Talk: Offering support for men dealing with mild mental health issues, such as anxiety and depression. ✅ Primary Care Network (North): Helping individuals with long-term conditions improve their well-being and lifestyle. ✅ Live it: Assisting children aged 5-11, identified by school nurses, to boost physical activity and make healthier lifestyle choices. This initiative is a shining example of how community projects can enhance well-being and support. #communty #partnership #derbycountycommunitytrust
