We are seeking an experienced counselling professional who possesses the skills and expertise necessary to effectively manage all facets of the counselling function at BCS. This is a hybrid role, where some hours can be worked remotely and some from our offices in Basingstoke. The post is for 15 to 22.5 hours per week, with tasks reduced accordingly if fewer hours are worked. We are seeking a counselling professional to lead the management of our well-established and highly popular Certificate in Counselling Skills and Theory, as well as our Introduction to Counselling courses. May is Mental Health Awareness month. To coincide with this, we’re launching a campaign focusing on the silent killer of male suicide. Our aim is to break down as many barriers as possible for those men who may not otherwise access help through counselling by offering a free initial consultation, with the view to offering this to up to 100 men over a two-year period. We will be focusing on this group specifically through a targeted marketing campaign.
