The latest version for Netflix starred Dakota Johnson, Cosmo Jarvis, Richard E Grant and Henry Golding. 3 years ago The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry filmed all over the country including right in the middle of Bath city centre with one shot actually set in the real Jane Austen Promenade that went through the city at the time. They also filmed just outside of the city in Batheaston to get some beautiful countryside shots from Bannerdown. #bathfilmoffice30 #filmedinbath #throwbackthursday #janeaustencentre

4 years ago this week BBC drama The Pursuit of Love filmed in the amazing Green Park Station, Green Park Road and Royal Crescent. It must of been one of the first pieces of filming to take place in a public location out of lockdown. BBC WW2 drama, The Night Watch filmed extensively in Bath back in 2010. The production needed somewhere to dress as a bomb site. The Gainsborough hotel was about to be renovated and partially rebuilt, and made the perfect location. This weekend, we are celebrating 5 years since Bridgerton transformed Abbey Green into its regency-era backdrop for the first time. Half a decade later and we still love seeing it on our screens.
