BACK ON THE HIGH SEAS – NEW LIFE FOR AN OLD FRIEND! Through our long-standing partnership with SLB, Bauer Kompressoren UK Limited has recently embarked on a joint programme to upgrade the control panels of SLB’s high pressure seismic package fleet. Deployed across the globe in the exploration sector, these DNV containerised systems employ a diesel engine driven BAUER K28.0 compressor to provide a reliable source of high pressure air under the most demanding environmental conditions. The bespoke integrated control panel governs the operation of both the engine and compressor, also performing vital safety related trips. Following a full service and control panel upgrade, the seismic package, built at Bauer UK’s St. Helens facility in 2009, is now ready for another fifteen years of reliable service on the high seas.

A Visit to the Aintree Centre: Supporting Heroes in Action! Mr. Heinz Bauer and BAUER KOMPRESSOREN UK LIMITED Sales Engineer Martin Cowap DipCAM BA (Hons) recently visited the impressive Merseyside Fire & Rescue Service in Aintree, Liverpool, to meet with Facilities Manager Steve Law and other team members. Opened in July 2024, the new state-of-the-art fire station and training facility is more than just a local hub- it’s a "National Resilience Centre of Excellence," equipping first responders with essential skills. In August 2024, BAUER installed a PE300-VE in the new training centre and a PE-550-VE in the operations centre. We were honored to learn about this team's incredible work, including their mission to Turkey, where they bravely assisted in recovering survivors following the devastating earthquakes. Heinz Bauer, General Manager of BAUER Munich, and representatives of Bauer Kompressoren UK Limited were delighted to be hosted earlier this year by our customer Zotefoams Plc at their production facility in London. Joining us during this special visit were members of Zotefoams’ project and maintenance departments who, together with BAUER UK's service team, recently commissioned three BAUER high pressure boosters. This class-leading technology is now delivering clean nitrogen to production equipment at the heart of the Zotefoams manufacturing process. The project, a collaboration between Bauer UK, Bauer Munich and Zotefoams, represents the latest phase in the modernisation of Zotefoams’ world class operation. BAUER is proud to have been a part of this flagship enterprise.
