👨⚕️ Yesterday, Northampton Town FC Community Trust came to BCW Treatments Ltd in Wellingborough to carry out NHS health checks. It was fantastic to see so many staff members taking advantage of this service available for those aged 40-74. These health checks play a crucial role in identifying early signs of serious conditions such as stroke, kidney disease, heart disease, type 2 diabetes and dementia. Early detection can make a significant difference in health outcomes and we are proud to support our team in prioritising their wellbeing. #NHS FCMS (NW) Ltd will be visiting our Burnley site on Friday 25th October and Tuesday 29th October, to provide free health checks. ✨ Today, we had the pleasure of touring an iconic building in #BrilliantBurnley! Why iconic? Newtown Mill has been a cornerstone of Burnley's history since the 18th century, and it certainly has a story to tell. Today, we were fortunate enough to witness its incredible regeneration, as it’s set to become the new home for University of Central Lancashire medical students. The significant investment in this area has already given so much back to the community, and Barnfield Construction Limited has been instrumental in bringing this project to life. Their attention to detail has been nothing short of remarkable! Thanks to Tracy Clavell-Bate, who gave us a detailed walk-through of the build phases, all while proudly flying the flag (literally) for Pendleside Hospice as part of her Strictly Come Dancing Challenge. Today, Antonia attended her first Burnley Bondholders event for under 30s.
