About us
We exist to enhance the experience, treatment, outcomes and wellbeing of all current and former Beatson patients and their families in the broadest possible sense. Working in partnership with NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, the Beatson Cancer Charity delivers non-clinical services and funding enhancements in cancer treatment, care and research at the Beatson that will contribute to changing the face of cancer treatment on a local, national and international scale. Significant funding provides additional patient and family resources and facilities, innovative service developments and enhanced medical equipment. The charity also provides further staff training and development as well as additional resources including clinical nurse specialists, radiography, physics and research-based staff.

🏔️ Huge Congratulations to Lochlann, Rhys, and Jonathan from Amey Plc! 🏔️ On 8th July, these three incredible individuals completed the Arrochar Alps 3 Peaks Challenge, conquering Beinn Narnain, Beinn Ime, and finally Ben Arthur (The Cobbler) all within one day! 🌄 Their efforts raised an impressive £3548.25 for a great cause. 🎉 The boys shared, “We all enjoyed it (for the most part). It was challenging, and the weather changed for the worse up the peaks of Beinn Narnain and Beinn Ime, but we managed to soak up a fair bit of the sun and see some good views on The Cobbler, which was a nice way to end off.” Thank you, Lochlann, Rhys, and Jonathan, for your dedication and hard work! 🙌 #3PeaksChallenge

🚶♂️🌟 This #FeelGoodFriday we are celebrating, over 60 Thermo Fisher Scientific employees who took on the challenge of walking 14 miles around Glasgow’s football stadiums to raise funds for The Beatson Cancer Charity. 🌟🚶♀️ Thanks to their incredible efforts, the team raised over £4000, and with company match funding, the total soared to an amazing £8764.14! 🎉👏 A huge shoutout to the football stadiums - Celtic, Hampden, Partick Thistle, and Rangers - for being so welcoming and allowing our employees to visit! 🏟️⚽️
