We had a great time showing TV crews the nuclear bunker which is the first lot in this month's auction. This fantastic opportunity to buy a piece of past war British history is extremely rare. Most of these sites were decommissioned and sold off in 1993 and we have been informed that many were bought up by telecom companies and now are sites for mobile phone masts as they were built as telecommunication posts so they are positioned in very favourable locations. However, this bunker is still in its original condition and the current owner has refurbished and decorated it in readiness for its new owner.

Yesterday, colleagues from our Manchester office made use of Begbies Traynor Group's paid volunteering day and went litter picking around Castlefield in the city centre. Our volunteers collected around 40 bin bags filled with rubbish, helping to keep our local community cleaner and safer.   Mark Cleary, Chair of the Sustainability colleague network at Begbies Traynor Group, said: "It was nice to join together as a team in the Manchester sunshine, increase our activity levels, and contribute in keeping our local community and environment clean.
