I'm incredibly proud of our dedicated contract team, inclusive of our Community Engagement Coordinator Emma Arnold, they collaborated with South Essex Homes to bring our House to Home initiative to life. Together, we transformed a communal lounge in a hostel, creating a warm and inviting space for families to enjoy. Through this initiative, residents gained valuable painting and decorating skills they can apply in their own homes, fostering a sense of pride and independence. We also hosted an art therapy session, where both adults and children created personal artwork to be framed and displayed in the refreshed lounge—adding a meaningful, personal touch to the space. Seeing our team make such a positive impact is truly inspiring. These changes not only create a welcoming environment but also strengthen community bonds and leave a lasting, positive legacy in the areas where we work. Congratulations to our North West 3rd year Painting and Decorating Apprentice, Nathan; who was recently awarded the Young Eagle of the year Award at the John Haynes Foundation Gala. Our Learning and Development team (Julie, Ian, Joe and Keith) recently took a trip to Belgium to visit the Headquarters of Graco. An insightful trip learning all about the art of spraying; over 60 years ago, Graco invented the first portable airless paint sprayer, and have been innovating ever since to deliver high performance and maximum productivity products. We look forward to developing our partnership across the UK and Northern Ireland and would like to thank the Graco team for their support in developing our spray training facility in Belfast, as we move closer to mobilising our Apprenticeship Training Programme in Northern Ireland in partnership with Impact Training. #bebetter #bebell #spraypaint #training

As part of our ongoing commitment to our client Blairtummnock Housing Association and their customers, we recently hosted a Safer Homes event. Focusing on safety in the home, we were delighted to be joined by Police Scotland, Scottish Fire and Rescue Service, Home Energy Scotland, Connect Community Trust & The Pavillion Easterhouse, to chat to residents and provide invaluable advice on subjects like staying safe from scammers, fire safety in the home, energy advice and welfare rights. Our Contracts Supervisor, Liam McGhee, also attended to donate surplus paint to residents and provide industry advice on damp and mould treatment/prevention in the home. Huge thank you to all the organisations that attended and contributed to making the day a great success. #bebetter #bebell
