In just six years, Benchmark Drinks has become the fastest growing wine supplier in the UK, positioning itself within the top ten premium branded wine suppliers in the UK Overview:      Benchmark Drinks is now looking to hire a full time office based (Wandsworth, SW London) Senior Finance Assistant to join our dynamic Finance team. You will need to have fantastic attention to detail and be able to multi task. You will be reporting directly to the Finance Manager Key Responsibilities: ·       Ownership of the finance inbox and being first point of contact in finance ·       Preparation of the weekly supplier pay run ·       Posting banking journals daily across multiple accounts and currencies ·       Preparing monthly VAT return for approval and submission ·       Reviewing purchase invoices on the ERP accounting system (PO matching, approvals, brand coding, cost allocation)  ·       Other month end duties:  - Reconciling and prepare monthly banking reports for submission - Preparing bank and credit card reconciliations - Preparing monthly supplier statement reconciliations - Preparing monthly aged receivables report  - Reconciling and posting intercompany transactions - Raising commission and recharge invoices Key Skills and Experience: ·       AAT (or equivalent experience) ·       Experience working with Business Dynamics Central would be an advantage  ·       Alternatively experience working with accounting / ERP systems such as Sage ·       FMCG experience  ·       Interest in the wine industry ·       Excellent accuracy and attention to detail ·       A proactive approach to identifying and resolving problems ·       Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
