To mark World Mental Health Day, which is focused on prioritising mental health in the workplace this year, we’re proud to have reminded our team about our fantastic Mental Health First Aiders. Our group of soon to be 30+ Mental Health First Aiders are trained to support their colleagues when they need it most. Not only are they great listeners, but they’re all focused on helping challenge mental health stigmas and stereotypes. The fundraising and community involvement efforts of our people continue to impress us. When we launched our sponsorship scheme last year, we were excited to see what our team mates get up to raise money for charity or to support their local communities, and we haven't been disappointed. Our team is made up of so many coaches for youth sports teams, volunteers at Girl Guiding and Scout groups, keen athletes completing tough challenges to raise money for their charity of choice and so much more. In the last two months alone, we've donated to a number of local clubs and charities including Action Medical Research for Children, Pancreatic Cancer UK and Cancer Research UK, thanks to fantastic efforts of our people . We're extremely proud and look forward to seeing this continue to grow and grow! They did it! We were delighted to enter a team of six into the annual Triathlon/ Duathlon fundraising event for the brilliant Impetus - Backing the best charity over the weekend. We were extremely proud of our team before they’d even stepped foot over the start line, thanks to the time and effort they put into training, preparing and travelling to the Dorney Lake location, and we were blown away by the impressive times in which they completed each of their courses! A huge thank you and congratulations to our team which was made up of Andrew Livesey, MD of our Electrical Division, Ebrahim Hoveizavi, Account Manager, Ryan Harris , UbiQ Inspections Project Manager, Jack McInnes, Engineer Surveyor, Benjamin Sara-Kelly, Account Manager and Desmond Odiase, Planning Advisor. Our mid year foodbank collection across our offices was another huge success and we were delighted to drop donations off at a number of locations around the UK last month.
