We were delighted to welcome our #pMDI industry colleagues recently to inspect the installation of the HFA-152a capable pilot-scale pMDI filling line at our Holmes Chapel site, part of our partnership with H&T Presspart. Colleagues from H&T Presspart and Koura were in attendance to mark this milestone in our collective journey to support the industry’s transition to low global warming potential (GWP) propellants. Today we have announced the availability of the new pilot-scale capability, which brings rapid access to small-scale filling capabilities under GMP conditions, and which will support low GWP pMDI development programmes and clinical trials using HFA-152a & HFO-1234ze. Due to increasing interest in climate-friendly pMDI production globally, combined with regulatory and legislative pressures, high demand for the service is anticipated.
