Martin and Sylvia Evans, our wonderful #AF5 client for February 2025🥰 There's an awful lot we don't know about our couple🤪 That said, we've still managed to build a pretty extensive technical revision list. Here's a few areas that we've come up with: ➡️The advice process stages. ➡️Small pots triviality. ➡️Fund choices - mechanics / risks / benefits. ➡️DWP benefits. ➡️Rental income tax /a allowable expenses. ➡️Impact of charitable donations on death. ➡️DFM vs AFM. What areas have you got on your list that you'll be brushing up on before the exam on 11th February?🤔 Fuelled by caffeine (some of us anyway🤣), the BTS team have swung into action again this morning in designing our Fact find analysis, which will be ready for our learners on Monday. Just four more sleeps until the BTS team leaps into action to build another analysis - and we cannot wait! The #AF5 fact find will be released this coming Friday. What will we be dealing with? Whatever comes, we'll be working our socks off from the minute we get our hands on it. ➡️Analysing the individual/couple's circumstances. ➡️Thinking about any technical areas that we might need to brush up on. ➡️Considering any potential questions the examiner could ask. These are all things that learners ideally should spring into action with as well, rather than relying solely on a provider such as BTS. We are good (yes, we are biased😉) but you need to put in the legwork too. As always, we'll be running a one day workshop, taking place on Friday 31st January 09:30-16:30. We'll cover the basics to lay the foundation, get under the skin of the client/s and have a good go at some exam standard questions, ensuring you walk away with the tools you need to continue your prep towards the exam day.
