We are now in September, so that can only mean one thing! The CII will now be testing the 2024-25 tax year! A lot of changes will be noted in the CII tax tables, which you can access here: https://lnkd.in/e-vRnkxf Here are just a couple of the key changes you'll notice: ⭐ The Individual CGT Exemption has reduced from £6,000 to £3,000 ⭐ The CGT allowances for Trusts has reduced from £3,000 to £1,500 😲 ⭐ The Residential property CGT rate has reduced from 28% to 24% ⭐ There have been a range of increases in social security benefits, with the new state pension being one of these and increasing from £203.85 per week to £221.20 per week. It is really important that you make the most of your tax-tables in your exams, they are there for a reason. #AF #R0 #BTSsupport #CIIexams
