Exciting news! 🌱 A new research project is set to explore the biodiversity potential of solar farms in the UK. RSK Biocensus is proud to collaborate with EDF Renewables UK & Ireland and the University of Exeter on this initiative, focusing on the proposed 380-hectare Longfield Solar Farm in Essex – soon to be the UK's largest ☀️, generating enough energy for 96,000 homes annually 🏡. Over six years, a PhD student will study this site and others, supported by RSK Biocensus and the University of Exeter.
