The third edition of BizFest took place on Thursday 14th November at Hotel Du Vin in Henley on Thames. We are pleased to report that it was bigger, better, and more exciting than ever! With over 30 business owners and 12 expert advisory partners, the event offered a treasure trove of knowledge and insights as well as fantastic networking opportunities. Attendees were able to join one-on-one meetings and specialist workshops which were packed with value and fresh ideas. The session diving into the business landscape following the Chancellors recent statement was a particular hit, leaving everyone feeling confident and optimistic about the future! Our charity of the year whom we have supported for the last three years Alexander Devine Children's Hospice Service are reaching out as sadly they have had a very low uptake of companies and individuals purchasing gifts for the children from their wishlist. They are normally very fortunate to receive such fantastic support, but unfortunately this year they have received very few suitable donations, which means that many of the children’s Santa sacks are currently empty. With less than a week to go until the deadline an urgent appeal has been made for any company that might be able to support their Giving Tree Appeal and help purchase presents so that they can fill the empty stockings and ensure that every child can have a magical Christmas. If you can support either individually or as a company, you can find the wishlist here https://lnkd.in/ezN5sSsw Items can be purchased directly from Amazon and shipped straight to the hospice, or if there is time you can gather and take them over to Maidenhead. The deadline is Monday 25th November so Santa can take the presents off to their new homes from later next week.
