EcoCore® foamtech is helping leading manufacturers and brands improve sustainability, boost performance and reduce costs
About us
Bockatech's EcoCore® plastic moulding technology creates more sustainable packaging with skin-foam-skin walls in an instant. It is used for reusable — as well as recyclable single-use packaging — that is low-cost, lightweight, insulated, strong and very durable. EcoCore to-go cups cost the same as popular paper single-use alternatives but cut green house gases (GHG) by 20 - 30% after just 2 uses and halve the risk of land and sea waste pollution. Also, noodle pots made with EcoCore are easy to recycle and reduce both GHGs and material used up 30%. The new technology is easy to use and works with existing injection moulding machines as well as tried and trusted polypropylene plastic. EcoCore® can already be found in applications that are in use, or under trial, by well known organisations across many different sectors — from Waitrose to The NHS and Hay Festival. Bockatech technology is patent protected and available for use under licence.

Cups made with EcoCore® were at the Bloomberg Green Festival in Seattle last week thanks to r.World | Reuse — the event’s Sustainable Drinkware Partner. The ultradurable, low-cost and lightweight r.cup was made with Borealis PP by Novolex. It was manufactured using Bockatech EcoCore® foam-tech, which provides exceptional insulation, creates less carbon during production and reduces plastic use compared to solid-wall reusable alternatives. The cup showcased reuse to world sustainability leaders — including innovators, policymakers, entrepreneurs and activists. Covering sustainability, design, culture, food, tech, data, science, policy, and entertainment, the festival saw visitors participate in solutions-focused experiences alongside world-renowned experts to demonstrate meaningful climate action. https://lnkd.in/edvRpTfv #BBGGreenFestival #reuse #sustainability #reuserevolution
