🎉 Gemma Rostill and Suzanne Kavanagh had a fantastic time 'Sprinting' with the Hodder Education team yesterday at BookMachine HQ. We are BIG advocates of the Marketing Sprint and guiding clients through this process with our structured, energised approach. It enables teams – whether across publishing or education, or beyond – to kick-start the creative process and generate targeted, substantial and innovative ideas to carry forward into their campaigns (or for us to implement for them). Interested in Sprinting with us? We can manage these either in-person or virtually, depending on where your teams are based. Get in touch with us to learn more: https://lnkd.in/eA897fmJ #MarketingSprint #DigitalMarketing #MarketingAgency #CreativeAgency #MarketingCampaigns #SprintMethod #BookMachine #DigitalMarketingAgency #CreativeProjects

I’m just back from Frankfurt and thought I’d share some highlights from my BookMachine talk, "Marketing Trends to Watch in 2025: The Publishing Edition," in case you missed it. First of all, the decline and uncertainty of X is a reminder not to rely too heavily on any one social media platform. It’s key to spread out across different platforms, focus on SEO, build your email lists, and check out niche networks where your books might shine. With social media and AI advancing, it’s going to get easier for deepfakes and misinformation to spread. Just think back to the pandemic when manipulated videos featuring medical pros were shared, pushing false info about the virus, treatments, and vaccines. Something for all of us to keep in mind. For marketers working in areas where AI-generated content is set to take off, balancing GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) and SEO (Search Engine Optimization) will be crucial. As AI tools get better, search engines will need to get a deeper sense of user intent, so nailing that balance will be important. Voice search is also going to become more advanced. Since voice queries tend to be more conversational and longer than text-based ones, optimising content for natural, everyday language will really help boost those rankings. Got any thoughts on what’s next for marketing in 2025? Drop them in the comments below! #FBM24 #Frankfurt #Marketing
