We’re pleased to report that Boots has delivered a comparable Q4 retail sales increase of 6.2% year-on-year, with growth across all categories. The excellent final quarter contributed to a strong sales performance of 6.9% year-on-year for the full year ended 31 August 2024. Seb James, Managing Director, Boots UK and ROI, said: “I’m delighted to close the year with such a strong set of results. We have delivered a fourteenth consecutive quarter of market share growth and are seeing positive momentum across the whole business, with healthcare now performing strongly alongside our innovative beauty business. “We’re laser focused on preparations for our peak trading period, with our Christmas gifting range landing in stores and Black Friday just around the corner. “As I prepare to hand the leadership baton over to Anthony, I am confident that I am leaving the business in a very solid position, well set up to continue delivering on its exciting transformation. We're proud to sponsor Recycle Week in partnership with Recycle Now 🌍♻️ Candice Smith, Head of Environmental, Sustainability and Governance (ESG) said: “At Boots we want to make it easy for our customers to make sustainable choices – from the products they buy to how they dispose of the packaging." The Recycle at Boots initiative rewards customers for bringing empty health and beauty products that cannot be recycled at home to collection bins at Boots. Customers can earn 500 Advantage Card Points when they spend £10 in store after recycling five empties through the scheme. From today until the 5th November, customers will receive an extra 175 Advantage Card points when recycling two of the following items: lipstick, hand cream, body lotion, travel mini, refill pouch, dental in a single deposit and spend £10 or more in-store.* Recycle at Boots collection bins are available at over 800 stores across the UK and over five million products equating to over 280 tonnes of plastic have been recycled and diverted from landfill since it launched in 2020.
